Back at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Part of the tradition of the Sakura Matsuri at the BBG is for people to come dressed up. As best as I could understand it is a Japanese custom to come dressed like some of their favorite cartoon characters.
 Lots of Bo-Peeps.
 And Geisha ladies.
I played around with this shot and loved the way the woman and her parasol came out.

The Sakura's along the Cherry Blossom promenade were just beginning to pop.

Creativity and inner yearnings blossomed along with the cherry trees.
