Higher Ground Golf Tournament

Over the next few days I'll be covering the Orange Congregational Church Annual Golf Tournament held at Orange Hills Country Club.  This year it took a new theme, Higher Ground, raising money for homeless veterans.  100% of the money raised goes to Columbus House in New Haven and the OCC Christian Service and Outreach Board who then gives it directly to other missions.

Here's Judy Ode.  The tournament began many years ago in her husband's name Paul, the Paul Ode Golf Tournament.  What's a church function without a raffle?  This year I happened to win on of the baskets!!!  That's a rarity.
