On the horizon is the beginning of Lighthouse Point in East Haven and the harbor to New Haven.
The body of water is Long Island Sound....low tide.
This shoreline park is located in West Haven, CT, the town next to Orange. It was here on July 5, 1799 that Brigadier General Garth and his British Troops invaded. It was a spectacular day here in CT, the first really warm spring day that we've had and everyone was out.
