Over the weekend I heard a talk and took a walking tour to view the gargoyles and grotesques at Yale University. The talk was given by a Mathew (somebody or another...sorry). These two examples are of grotesques, not gargoyles. Tomorrow when I post more I'll tell a bit more about the difference. Gotta run now.

These don't look so grotesque to me. That is how my daughter used to look when she was studying. Now that she works in an office, I wonder if she uses a chair or the carpet . . .
