A Little Night Photography

I took a night photography class with Harold Shapiro, my friend and professional photographer, at the Milford Photo Shop in Milford, CT.  Great class.  After his tutorial we descended the streets of downtown Milford.  It was really helpful but I have to admit, my little Canon G11 paled in comparison to the big guys.

Scaffolding.

  1. Wow, the last shot is stunning. Good on ya for actually taking such classes.

Just wondering, what is the statue holding? Looks like a fish or a hotdog, but I kinda doubt it.

  2. Tee hee, I think it is the butt of his rifle that is resting on his shoulder. I actually did some night photography with Harold, the instructor, when I was last in Jerusalem. We were on the same trip together. You can see some of his work on his website listed above.

  3. Oh, now I see. He is holding a rifle. duh

Harold, he took our picture. And then you shlepped me all around Jerusalem in the cold and dark and rain so we could take night pictures.
