Gone and Forgotten
A couple of weeks ago I visited this cemetery in Norwalk, CT. It was rather curious in that one part of it was taken care fairly well and the other part was all but forgotten.
All the more reason to photograph cemeteries now. In Jerusalem the cemeteries are running out of room, so they dig catacombs and also build multi-story burial places. :(
Beautiful, sad, tragic, and lonely and maybe inevitable. All that's left a a few memories of a time past.
ReplyDeleteVery sad.
ReplyDeleteSad indeed. Eventually, with more and more cremations, cemeteries may become a thing of the past as we know it.

In the first shot the tree itself is taking over.
